Ceylon Kenilworth Estate OP

(Sri Lanka - Black) This Ceylon Single Estate is a classic black tea from the mountainous interior of Sri Lanka. Whole leaf, long black wiry OP grades are produced by either communes or, as with this tea, individual estate gardens with the latter being fancier. The liquor is bright orange and has a lot of smooth body. Good with milk. Consistently good tea and excellent value.

Water Temperature: 212°F (boiling)
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces
Steep Time: 4 minutes (1st infusion), 5 minutes (2nd infusion)
