Below is the current status of our business operations. We have also set up a text service, especially to keep in touch with local customers who may typically come into our stores and not necessarily be mail order customers.

OUR RETAIL STORES

All of our retail stores are temporarily closed. Our Madison, CT and Yale Art & Architecture stores closed on March 18th. Our Church Street New Haven store, and the store at our coffee roasting plant in Branford closed the following Saturday March 21st. All stores will be closed until we receive word that it is safe to reopen.

MAIL ORDER and WHOLESALE

MAIL ORDERS WILL NOT BE FILLED FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS.
ORDERS PLACED AFTER 9PM ON SATURDAY 4/4 WILL BE FILLED WHEN WE RE-OPEN.
 
ORDERS THAT WERE PLACED BEFORE THE ABOVE DATE/TIME SHOULD BE FILLED BY TUESDAY 4/7
AFTER WHICH TIME MAIL ORDERS WILL TEMPORARILY CEASE.

For the safety of our staff and that of their families, we have chosen to close this nearly last part of our business operation. Our volume requires employees to work in somewhat close spacing that is not viable at this time. We are hoping that we can return to work in a couple of weeks, but will not do so until it is safe. While we know this is an inconvenience for our customers, we hope you will understand the basis of our decision.

Orders placed after Saturday 9PM will be filled upon our return. You may make notes during checkout if you have specific instructions for us.

We will discuss bulk orders with our wholesale partners directly.
