They are packed in foil bags with one-way valves and ship within hours of roasting so you may enjoy these coffees at their absolute peak of flavor.     Coffee from Panama's Elida Estate is among those highest in demand. We have but a small allocation of this big fruit filled selection. ASD is short for Anearobic Slow Dry. High grown, selected ripe coffee cherries from Elida's prized property, are placed in airtight containers for days to heighten fruit flavors. Then, they dried over an extended "slow drying" process to concentrate those fruit flavors even further.

    Big, fruity and juicy cherry flavors along with sweet red wine, apple cider and mango - a fruit cocktail. Refined intensity. Powerful but balanced.

    Some Serious Select coffees derive from international coffee competitions which seek to rank the best coffee in a particular country in a given year, some are from private auctions - like the world renowned Hacienda Esmeralda from Panama - and still others are the product of experimentation by growers pushing the quality envelope.
