Panama Finca Auromar Pacamara Natural

Kicking off the holiday season of Serious Select coffees is a Pacamara variety from Finca Auromar in Panama. In some previous years we offered several Geisha varieties from Auromar, but this year it is something different - a Pacamara, which very pleasantly surprised us with its unique profile. They grow very little of it and the price point is much less expensive than Geisha from the same farm. Pacamara is human made cross of two other varieties, explained in more detailed on the coffee's own page.

This is a mildly floral expression of Pacamara. Aromas: cherry, marzipan, roasted chestnut with savory overtones. Flavors of chocolate, raspberry and fig with tart cherry background and finish. Very chocolatey mouthfeel with hazelnut.
